EEF Scholars toured Santa Fe College

GAINESVILLE, FL. (EEF News) – Education Equalizer Scholars from Eastside High School, Buchholz High School, and Gainesville High School visited Santa Fe College for a campus tour. The students received a warm welcome from Admissions Specialist Ismelda Alvarez, SF Achieve Coordinator Terrell Jenkins, and a current SF student who served as the tour guide. After the tour, the EE Scholars enjoyed lunch and completed their college application to express interest in Santa Fe College.

“I am so glad I was able to join the tour, I hadn’t considered Santa FE before, and now I’m interested,” said Jamee Davis, a Greater Bethel AME Church member, and a high school student. Jamee learned about the event from the EEF monthly newsletter. If you’d like to join us, learn more about our monthly events, and register for our monthly newsletter here.
