GAINESVILLE, FL. (EEF News) On April 20th, 2023, our community came together to participate in the annual Amazing Give Day. We are thrilled to announce that it was a tremendous success. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised a total of $5,800.00 to support our important work in the community.
Throughout the day, we saw an outpouring of support from individuals, families, and businesses committed to improving our community. From early-morning donations to last-minute contributions, every gift made a difference in helping us reach our fundraising goal. We even participated in an infomercial with Santa Fe College partner Terrell Jenkins. We discussed our uniqueness, “We are unique because we are a one-stop shop to and through college for underserved students, regardless of their GPA or ACT/SAT scores. In concert with the community, we help students prepare and receive college access,” said Dr. Carjie Scott, CEO, and Founder.
We would like to extend a special thanks to the Wagmore Foundation for their generous matching gift. Thanks to their support, we exceeded our fundraising goal and made an even greater impact in our community.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, donors, and supporters. We are so grateful for the time, effort, and resources that you have all given to support our mission. Your contributions will help us continue to provide critical services to those in need, whether through education resources, healthcare services, or support for families facing hardship.
The Amazing Give Day was not just a successful fundraising event – it was a testament to the strength of our community and our collective commitment to making a positive impact. We are proud to be a part of such a generous and caring community, and we look forward to continuing our work together to make our community an even better place for everyone.

Want to learn more about what we do? Check our receipts; we have helped over one-hundred students in 17 months with college preparedness services. This includes college tours, ACT/SAT prep, FAFSA workshops, scholarship assistance, and essay writing assistance, and we provide insider admissions office knowledge while connecting our students with industry experts and notable college alumni. And we did it as volunteers!
