The Education Equalizer Foundation received its’ first grant from the Partnership for Reimagining Gainesville. An organization focused on community building and long term impact funded by the City of Gainesville, Children’s Trust of Alachua County and the University of Florida. EEF will use the grant to offer college preparation services to rising seniors. EEF is now enrolling for College Prep 101, a summer program at Project Youthbuild, to help rising seniors get accepted into college with scholarships and graduate from college.
“We are so confident in our services that we are already planning a fundraising Gala this fall to celebrate the students who attend this workshop. We anticipate that all of our students will get accepted into the college of their choice with some scholarships,” said President Carjie Scott.
