GAINESVILLE, FL. and MEMPHIS, TN. (EEF News) – Ms. Jatori Little, ACT certified educator, hosted EEF’s inaugural ACT/SAT virtual prep session. “You should continue doing the test-prep sessions, Jatori helped to reduce my test anxiety. I definitely feel more prepared to take the test now,” said a student during an anonymous survey. “This was a great pilot program, and we learned a lot, said Dr. Carjie Scott, EEF, Co-Founder.” She continued, “We now realize how important offering a virtual model is for our students. Our students expect us to meet them where they are. They also expressed an interest in one day instead of three one-hour sessions. I’m glad that our students are invested in helping themselves and other students who will come after them. I’m also pleased with how the Jatori engaged with our students, and I look forward to continuing to work with her.”

With over 14 years of experience working in higher education as a career and college advisor, Jatori’s career reflects the necessary expertise required to serve as Program Director. She has worked at LeMoyne-Owen College, Memphis City Schools, Vatterott Career College, Shelby County Schools, and Memphis Business Academy. Jatori earned her Bachelor of Science as a double major in Criminal Justice and Chemistry from Tennessee State University and her MBA in Management degree from the University of Phoenix.

The Education Equalizer Foundation will offer another class on Saturday, February 25, from 8a-12:30p EST. It is a 3-hour intense session with interactive activities and multiple breaks. Also, it’s best to study little by little instead of cramming; therefore, if you know any middle schoolers (you should begin to prepare for the test at 14) who could benefit, please encourage them to register. The program is online, and all participants are asked complete the application below to participate.
