We are delighted to spend time with Dr. Christina Rosenthal, founder and CEO of Determined to Be a Doctor Someday. Dr. Rosenthal has paved the way to equip toddlers and teens to become doctors. The organization was recently featured on Good Morning America for its work with Dr. Q, a DDS graduate who is now a practicing dentist that has helped numerous patients, including rap superstar Glorilla.

GAINESVILLE, FL. (EEF News) – We are delighted to spend time with Dr. Christina Rosenthal, founder and CEO of Determined to Be a Doctor Someday. Dr. Rosenthal has paved the way to equip toddlers and teens to become doctors. The organization was recently featured on Good Morning America for its work with Dr. Q, a DDS graduate who is now a practicing dentist that has helped numerous patients, including rap superstar Glorilla. Dr. Rosenthal says, “I am like many of the people in your audience who are just trying to figure life out.” During this episode, she talks about the challenges she experienced and how she overcame them to achieve her dream.

Dr. Christina T. Rosenthal, a practicing dentist, graduated from the University of Memphis, the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, and Harvard University. She founded The 516 Foundation with its primary initiative, Determined to be a Doctor Someday (D.D.S.), to encourage under-represented students to pursue healthcare careers. She is also the author of the children’s book; You Can Become a Doctor Too. Dr. Rosenthal is a Joseph Henry Oral Health Fellow (Harvard University), an alumna of the American Dental Association’s Institute for Diversity in Leadership, a Presidential Leadership Scholar, and an Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity at George Washington University.
