Powerhouse Leaders Jason Hurst and Dani Tan join the EEF team

GAINESVILLE, FL. and NEW YORK, NY (EEF News) – Ms. Danielle Tan, leadership coach, has accepted the position to serve as Program Director, coordinating career and leadership services for gap-year students at The Education Equalizer Foundation. “We recognize that attending college immediately after graduating from high school just isn’t everyone’s goal therefore we welcome the opportunity to serve recent high school graduates,” said Dr. Carjie Scott, EEF Founder. Dani knows how to help coach and develop students to realize their potential while they are taking a year or two off before committing to college. “I understand that most of us have it within ourselves to achieve our dreams; but, don’t always have the tools or role models to get there. I aim to support the gap year students at The Education Equalizer Foundation, particularly women of color to reach their goals and increase representation in the workforce,” said Dani.

Mr. Jason Hurst, Real Estate Agent, is a FAMU grad and Gainesville resident. “I love radio and have enjoyed being interviewed as well as serving as guest co-host on ‘College Talk,’ with Dr. Carjie Scott. I believe that I can add value to the organization by Co-Producing the show with Carjie to increase overall visibility using digital strategies while highlighting community leaders who continue the college-going culture in Gainesville and nationally.” Jason will assist as a Co-Producer and Co-Host of ‘College Talk’ radio which is broadcast on Power Station 92.1 FM, 900 AM throughout Gainesville, Ocala, and Jacksonville. With Jason’s expertise the show will also be available on many streaming platforms with the goal of national syndication.
