GAINESVILLE, FL. (EEF News) – The Education Equalizer Foundation is grateful for its’ partnership with community leaders. Our small but mighty volunteer-led organization is making a difference to help Black, minority, and first-generation middle through high school students (14 y/o to 18 y/o) and their families get exposed, prepared, and accepted into college.
In addition to honoring our scholars who credit their success at getting accepted into college to their work with The Education Equalizer Foundation. We will also honor:
- Principal Leroy Williams, Eastside High School
- Partnership for Reimagining Gainesville Representative, Karissa Rankin
- Partnership for Reimagining Gainesville Representative, Brandy Stone
- CEO and Executive Director, Jonathan Leslie, Project YouthBuild
Please consider joining us at the Million Dollar Scholar Brunch for this inaugural event to celebrate the work of our students, community leaders, parents, and EEF team.
Date: Saturday, April 29, 2023
Time: 11a – 1p
Location: Greater Bethel AME Church

We began as a summer program. Our goal was to help 20 students; however, our combined resources, talented volunteers, involved parents, and community leaders equipped us to help over 100 (14-18 y/o) students in the last 16 months. The students above are the graduating seniors that have completed College Prep 101 work and will be honored at the Million Dollar Scholar Brunch.
This is an event that you do not want to miss.
