GAINESVILLE, FL. (EEF News) – The Education Equalizer Foundation is proud to present its second annual College Prep 101 summer college workshop in partnership with Project YouthBuild. The College Prep 101 program is an in-person mentorship program with opportunities to network with area professionals, attend college tours, receive help with financial aid applications, and much more!
Last year 100% of our College Prep 101 mentees received admittance into some of their top-choice colleges. Our scholars were accepted to: Bethune Cookman University, Livingstone College, Edward Waters University, The University of Central Florida, University of Central Florida, University of Florida, Florida State University, Princeton University, Florida Atlantic University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Shaw University, Florida Memorial University, Huston–Tillotson University, Voorhees University, Santa Fe College, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, North Carolina Central University, Wilberforce University, Clark Atlanta University, and Tougaloo College, and the acceptances are still pouring in!
Then, the scholars were offered opportunities to continue engaging with The Education Equalizer Foundation throughout the year.
