GAINESVILLE, FL. (EEF News) – Dear Education Equalizer Foundation Donors,
As we approach the Amazing Give campaign, we want to share the inspiring stories of two of our students who have benefitted greatly from our organization’s guidance and support.
Minjee was a first-generation American and college student who turned to The Education Equalizer Foundation for assistance in navigating the college application process. Feeling overwhelmed and lacking resources, Minjee found the support she needed from our dedicated team of volunteers. “Thanks to the dedicated team of volunteers at The Education Equalizer Foundation, I received one-on-one assistance throughout the application process. They helped me identify the most suitable schools, navigate the financial aid process, and prepare competitive applications,” said Minjee. Thanks to our assistance, Minjee was accepted into multiple universities, including the University of Florida, University of Central Florida, and even Princeton University. Initially not even considering Princeton as a potential option, after extensive research, it became her top choice. “To anyone considering supporting The Education Equalizer Foundation, I would highly recommend it. Without their assistance, I would not have been able to achieve my dreams,” said Minjee. Her story is a shining example of how our organization can help students overcome barriers to higher education and achieve their dreams.

Saniaya, a minority student, also came to us seeking guidance and support in navigating the college application process. Facing barriers such as lack of resources and guidance, she was unsure of which schools to apply to. With the help of our volunteers, Saniaya was able to identify the most suitable schools and prepare competitive applications. “It has helped me by getting prepared beforehand so that when the time college comes around everything would already be done,” said Saniaya. Thanks to our assistance, Saniaya was accepted to several universities, including Tallahassee Community College, Santa Fe College, Edward Waters University, Florida Memorial University, and Tennessee State University. She was overjoyed and grateful for our support, as she never thought that she would have the opportunity to attend such prestigious universities. “Honestly, I wanted to go to college but I didn’t know the steps to get there and so I thought that I wouldn’t be able to go,” added Saniaya. Both Minjee and Saniaya’s stories are a testament to the impact that The Education Equalizer Foundation can have on students’ lives. By supporting our organization, you can help us provide vital guidance and support to students who face barriers to higher education. We believe that education is a key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a brighter future for all.

The Amazing Give campaign, is happening now. We ask that you please consider making a $30.00 donation to The Education Equalizer Foundation. Our goal is to raise $3000. When we reach the goal, an anonymous donor will match. This money will be used to continue the College Prep 101 program that Minjee and Saniya completed. We already have over twenty students registered for the program. We need your help. We are a very small volunteer-led organization that has impacted nearly one-hundred students in less than seventeen months. Your generosity can help us continue to support students like Minjee and Saniaya and make higher education more accessible to all.
