GAINESVILLE, FL. (EEF News) The journey for the Education Equalizer Foundation (EEF) scholars is far from over as they continue to amass impressive scholarships, setting a bright path for their futures. Among the standout recipients are A’marion Cason (AJ), Che’ Reed, Kristin Cooper, Caleb Little-Thomas, and Da’Mar Wims, each earning significant scholarships to support their academic endeavors.
A’marion Cason (AJ) has been awarded a $6,000 scholarship for two years through the Santa Fe College Foundation’s SF Minority Scholarship. This substantial award recognizes AJ’s hard work and commitment to his education. Reflecting on AJ’s achievements, his mother, Adria G., shared a heartfelt message: “Wanted to share that AJ is being recognized at Senior Awards Night at Newberry High School. EEF has made an incredible impact on his senior year journey and upcoming future! I’m so thankful for your vision and for creating this exceptional program. I look forward to supporting EEF after AJ’s departure so other students and families can experience what we’ve been awarded by participating in EEF. So grateful.”

Che’ Reed, another accomplished Alachua County high school senior, received a $1,000 scholarship to attend Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). This scholarship is a testament to Che’s dedication and academic prowess, setting the stage for his future success at FAMU.

Kristin Cooper has also made her mark by earning the prestigious Five Pearls of Scholarship $1,000 Award from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. This award honors Kristin’s scholastic achievements and her commitment to excellence, underscoring the sorority’s values of scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood.

Caleb Little-Thomas, another remarkable EEF scholar, received a $1,500 scholarship from the Veterans of Peace Chapter 14 in Gainesville, FL. This scholarship supports Caleb’s educational aspirations and acknowledges his contributions and dedication to his community.
Da’Mar Wims, a talented athlete, secured a scholarship to play basketball for Paine College. This scholarship highlights Da’Mar’s athletic skills and academic and personal achievements, paving the way for a successful college career both on and off the court.
