Gainesville, FL (EEF News) — The Education Equalizer Foundation is officially accepting applications for College PASS Cohort 5. If you are serious about college, scholarships, and competing strategically — this is your moment. Over the past four years, EEF scholars have earned over $10 million in scholarships. That success is not accidental. It is the result of structure, accountability, mentorship, and preparation. Cohort 5 is designed for students who are ready to commit to the process.

What Is College PASS?

College PASS stands for:

Preparation. Access. Student Support.

This is a structured cohort experience that provides:

  • Academic planning
  • ACT/SAT strategy
  • College list building
  • Essay development
  • Scholarship strategy
  • Financial aid guidance
  • Mentorship
  • Leadership development
Cohort 5 Required Dates & Programming
Summer Intensive (In-Person)

Friday, July 10, 17, and 24
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Aces in Motion
1700 SE 36th Ave
Gainesville, FL 32641
(Lunch will be served)

These sessions focus on goal setting, college strategy, and scholarship planning.

ACT/SAT Mock Test Session (Virtual)

Tuesday, July 21
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Students will receive diagnostic feedback to guide their standardized test preparation strategy.

Monthly Application & Scholarship Sessions (Virtual)

All sessions are 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

  • September 2
  • October 7
  • February 3
  • March 3

These sessions are mandatory and focus on application deadlines, scholarship tracking, and accountability.

College Exposure & Experiential Learning

EEF scholars will participate in:

  • Florida A&M University Tour (Spring & Fall – Dates TBD)
  • National Association for College Admission Counseling College Tour (Spring & Fall – Dates TBD)
  • Santa Fe College Tour (Spring & Fall Break)
  • Clermont Periodontics Shadowing Opportunity (Fall or Spring Break – In-Person)

These experiences provide real exposure, real conversations, and real insight into college and career pathways.

Signature Event

Million Dollar Scholar Brunch
April 17, 2027
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location is TBD

This annual celebration honors scholarship achievement and scholar growth.

Mentorship & Personalized Support

Cohort 5 scholars will receive:

  • Ongoing mentorship from current EEF college students (scheduled at your convenience)
  • 1:1 virtual meetings with Dr. Scott (scheduled individually)

This is where strategy becomes personal.

Cohort 5 Requirements

To join Cohort 5, scholars must:

  • Be currently enrolled in high school as a rising junior or senior
  • Commit to attending required in-person and virtual sessions
  • Participate in ACT/SAT preparation
  • Meet scholarship and application deadlines
  • Maintain academic focus and accountability
  • Have parent/guardian support and engagement

This program requires consistency and commitment. Results follow discipline.
