In honor of HBCU Week, let’s celebrate a memorable moment when The Education Equalizer Foundation (EEF) helped a scholar take their first flight and visit Tennessee State University. This journey, made possible through the support of Overcomers International Church, highlights the power of community and the transformative impact of HBCUs.

Your support has made a significant difference in the lives of our students, providing them with the tools and confidence they need to excel in their academic journey.

The Education Equalizer Foundation’s College PASS cohort III participated in an ACT/SAT mock test. This program provided students with an opportunity to experience a full-length practice test without the financial burden typically associated with test preparation. The event was a resounding success thanks to EEF’s Test Prep Coach, Dani Hobson, and University of Florida intern Felecia DeQuiros.

The Education Equalizer Foundation (EEF) is thrilled to announce that students from Eustis High School and Leesburg High School in Lake County will be joining us for an exciting opportunity: the Florida A&M University (FAMU) Preview Day. This tour marks the beginning of EEF’s expansion into Lake County, allowing more students access to resources that help them prepare for and succeed in college.

Students must often interview for positions in student organizations, work-study programs, and campus committees. Furthermore, effective interviewing skills can help students build relationships with professors and mentors, leading to valuable recommendations, scholarship opportunities, and academic guidance.
