Last year, the Education Equalization Foundation (EEF) recognized a significant challenge – numerous local businesses, fraternities, and churches had scholarships available, yet these opportunities were left untouched. Determined to create a positive change, EEF is introducing an innovative approach this year, and we need your support to make it a success.

The Education Equalizers Scholars had an unforgettable day visiting the University of Florida, filled with enlightening experiences and bonding through a team-building bowling activity. The event left a profound impact, with one scholar expressing, “I enjoyed the presentation from Mr. Keaton.

FAMU Preview Day was a remarkable event that left a lasting impression on both students and parents. It provided valuable insights into the college experience, especially for those with limited prior knowledge. One student exclaimed, “I learned a lot more than what school or anyone has taught me before about college.” This sentiment was echoed by others, highlighting the event’s educational value.

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Kerwin Scott, EEF Co-Founder and Vice-Chairman, Mr. Jason Hurst, Real Estate Agent, and FAMU Graduate, and Mr. Boderick Johnson, President of FAMU National Alumni Association Alachua County have agreed to host Gainesville students for Fall Preview Day. In addition to the pre-planned Preview Day activities, EEF scholars will receive lunch, a football game ticket to FAMU versus Alabama State, and continued mentorship from The Education Equalizer Foundation.

Here in Gainesville, FL, to participate in the Juneteenth festivities for the first time are Johnny Vulture, Benjamin Andre, Dookie on Drums, Possum Jenkins, and Andre Ice Cold 3000!
